2. Principles we apply

  • Data minimisation: we only ask for the data needed for each purpose.
  • Storage limitation: we keep data for as long as the purpose requires and, after that, for the periods required by law.
  • Integrity and confidentiality: we apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.

3. What data we process, why and on what legal basis

You do not need to give us any personal data to browse the website. We process data in these cases:

  • Contact and membership forms: name and surname, email address, phone number and the message you write. Purpose: to answer your enquiry or your request for information about bookings, green fees or membership. Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the box in the form (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR). Retention: as long as needed to deal with your request and, after that, for the legal limitation periods.
  • Information form: your email address. Purpose: to send you the club information you ask for. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR). Retention: until you ask us to stop sending it.
  • Spam protection of the forms with Google reCAPTCHA v3: Google receives technical data about the browser and the interaction with the page. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in preventing automated submissions (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
  • Visit statistics with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Metricool, only if you accept them in the cookie notice: browsing and device data, in aggregate form. Purpose: to know how many people visit the website and which pages they read. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR and Art. 22.2 LSSI-CE).
  • Advertising with Google Ads, only if you accept it in the cookie notice: we measure whether a visit coming from an ad ends in a form submission or a phone call. Legal basis: your consent.
  • Third-party content (Google Maps, videos and Sign in with Google), only if you accept marketing cookies: the third party receives your IP address and may use its own cookies. Legal basis: your consent.
  • Social media: if you follow the club on Facebook, Instagram or YouTube, your data is also processed under the terms and privacy policy of each network.

4. Cookies

The cookie notice lets you accept or reject them. Until you decide, no statistics or advertising tools are loaded. We store your choice for 30 days in this website's cookies wp_consent_statistics, wp_consent_statistics-anonymous, wp_consent_marketing and wp_consent_preferences.

  • Statistics (if you accept them): _ga and _ga_*, from Google Analytics, up to 2 years.

5. Recipients and international transfers

We do not disclose your data to third parties unless required by law. The providers that give technical services to the controller have access to the data as processors, under contract: Hola in Company (the agency that maintains the website) and the hosting and email services.

If you accept the relevant cookies, Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads, Maps, YouTube and reCAPTCHA) may process data outside the European Economic Area, in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Metricool processes data within the European Union.

6. Your rights

You can exercise at any time your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before.

To exercise them, write to info@elparaisogolf.com or by post to the controller's address, stating which right you want to exercise and attaching a document that proves your identity.

If you believe we have not processed your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

7. Security

The controller applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent the loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or destruction of your data. The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

8. Accuracy of data

You guarantee that the data you give us is true and up to date, and you are responsible for any damage caused by providing false data or data belonging to third parties without their permission.
